This position is primarily remote, but we have hubs in San Francisco and Pittsburgh and plan to come together periodically for opportunities to collaborate together.


Job Description & Responsibilities

Seasoned is looking for a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to help drive product quality and promote our strong customer focus. This role is a mix of ensuring we deliver a quality product experience to our customers as well as being the lead on incident support cases into Engineering. This position requires outstanding analytic and communication skills, the ability to collaborate with a wide variety of colleagues, experience prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment, and the tenacity to execute against deliverables in a timely, high-quality fashion.

What you'll be doing:

  • Respond and coordinate process of Production incidents in order to support the Customer Success effort in providing qualitative feedback to our customers and internal operations
  • Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution
  • Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Constantly accumulate knowledge of the entire technical architecture and business flows to be able to easily track and detect the cause of incidents
  • Provide a detailed analysis to both product and technical specs and ability to extract clear test plans and test cases
  • Execute tests and report the status of a test cycle to improve the quality of product
  • Interact with Engineering and Product Management teams to collaborate on high value deliveries to our customers

What you'll bring:

  • Strong end-to-end testing experience for native mobile applications (iOS and Android), web, and back-end services
  • Previous experience as a QA engineer (7+ years Required) with strong problem-solving and high-level analytical skills
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams on all phases of a product’s lifecycle
  • Ability to adapt and handle ad-hoc situations driven by possible product incidents
  • Strong knowledge in querying relational and document type DBs
  • Strong knowledge in diagnosing issues through logging and monitoring tools
  • Strong knowledge of testing RESTful and GraphQL apis
  • Strong knowledge of AWS architecture
  • Knowledge in automating test scenarios
  • Experience generating internal reports
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
